Step into Autumn with these new workshops!



We will be running 2 new Workshops in September:


Beginner's / Return to Pilates Workshop on Saturday 7th September @ 14.00:

This is a 2 hour workshop designed for those who are new to Pilates or who have not done Pilates for a while. In this workshop we will be introducing the basic principles of Pilates, and looking in detail at the standard mat exercises with focus on technique, alignment, the breath, and precision of movement.


Barre Pilates Workshop on Saturday 21st September @ 14.00:

In this 2 hour workshop we will be introducing Barre Pilates, which combines the core strength, control and precision of Pilates with the positions, moves and technique of Ballet.   A typical Barre Pilates class starts with a warm-up, followed by a session at the BARRE.  We then move to the mat for some upper body work with light weights followed by some Core work, finishing with a Cool-Down and some dynamic stretching exercises. This is all done to music. A fun session, but one which helps sculpt the muscles whilst burning fat, improving balance, strength and stamina.
